Cowboy Up!!

 

My baby boy Is TWO!!!! I can't believe how fast time flies by... He is not a little baby anymore, but such a little boy! He is talking So much, and we can finally understand what he is saying!! He is Keeping up with Tavin in almost every aspect, and doesn't let the fact that he IS smaller get in his way of "doin what the big boys do." Since Daxtons Birthday is on September 5th, which will pretty much always be over Labor day weekend, we did a cowboy birthday party for him the following weekend. Once again I got a little over ambitious with the party planning, and totally stressed myself out, but it turned out really cute! We had everyone come dressed in cowboy gear and ready to eat cowboy grub. The kids went digging for gold so they could have money to buy rootbeer at the saloon, and their very own stick horse. (Thank you mom for giving up an entire day to help me make these "quick & easy" hobby horses :)) We decorated paper vests, Threw snakes into a boot, had a horse race, and then had to "pop the pigs" that took over the town. And of course got to end the evening with red velvet, chocolate covered cake balls..
