Army Party!

 For Daxtons third birthday, we planned a "Army Boot Camp" Party for him..On the invitations, we told the recruits to come dressed in their camos..







As the recruits arrived, we had them "register". This is where they got there camo bandana, dog tag with their name on it, an army tattoo, a squirt gun, a camo notepad with matching pencil and a loot bag to put everything in. we also had camo face paint for those that wanted it.

After being "registered" all the recruits stood in line and Marched behind drill Seargeant Dustin, chanting along, to where boot camp began. Boot camp consisted of hopping on top of 6 painted circles, walking the balance beam, crawling through a tunnel, up and over a latter and finally using a nerf gun to shoot down the bad guys. (little plastic army guys lined up along our garden wall)





After the recruits successfully completed the course, we had a friendly boys vs girls game of tug-of-war

After all the training it was time for the battle. We had about 200 grenade looking water ballons spread throughout the lawn!

After the party activities were done, we ate some dinner and opened presents. We finished with cake, cupcakes and ice cream.

My very first attempt with fondant.. I learned that decorating fondant cakes takes a Really long time-
Hence why the tank is kind of plain..

We had a blast!!!
