The boys went hunting every morning and every night, but didn't end up getting anything. Which actually was a relief to me, bcuz the thought of having to bring a dead carcus home with us kinda creeps me out! Anyways, while the boys did that, us girls sat at the camp and played with the kids.
Saturday was Daxtons actual 1st birthday, and I was a little emotional all day! I kept thinking exaclty 1 year ago at this time...
After the boys got back from hunting that evening, while we were all sitting around the camp fire, we sang Happy Birthday to our sweetie and let him "blow" out his candle. It still blows my mind he's already one!
Although we don't really do much of anything while up camping, I absolutely love it. I love staying up late, talking around the campfire. I LOVE roasting marshmallows, even though it would normally be way to late to be consuming that much sugar. I love going on nature walks. I love watching my boys take in all that nature has to offer them. I love taking naps in the afternoon, simply because I can. and most of all I love cuddling with my boys at night to keep warm.

Tavin absolutely loves that while camping he can go pee outside.. wherever he wants!

Grandpa has the magic touch. He ended up putting most of the kids to sleep each night this way!
until next year.... We will miss you summer time camping!

The peeing outside thing is Payton favorite thing about camping too! The only bad thing is he thinks he can pee wherever outside now when he is playing...little stinker!
