DaX's 1st B-dAy PaRtY!

For Daxton's 1st birthday party we had a wonderful evening at home with family and friends. We ate nummy navajo tacos for dinner and of course Grandma Honeys homemade cake for dessert. Dax is such a people person, he had such a great time with everyone.

He is growing up SO fast. His 12 month stats are: weight: 22 lbs 15 oz (50%) height: 29.4 in (50%) and his head comes in at a whopping 18.8 inches which is in the 90th %. I guess its okay to have a "Big" head when your 1, right? Tavin will be our Tough Sports kids and Dax will be our Brainiac. Ha Ha.

Anyways, He is not walking all the way yet, because he gets scared after a few steps when he realizes no one is holding on to him. but I am certain it won't be much longer before he realizes that with walking you can get places (i.e running from your brother) much quicker. Then I will have 2 boys running around the house terrorizing - Lord help me!!!

The pinata was a big hit with all the little kids, even if Uncle Dustin was the one that finally got to break it open.

Dax wasn't so sure of the cake.. at first.

But he quickly realized how good it was & soon dove right in. Although he didn't like all that cake mess on his hands. He kept wanting us to wipe them off. -So unlike a boy to care if he's messy!
