This is the first year we have been to an actual pumpkin patch to get our pumpkins. Tavin was so excited at the overwhelming site of all them. The patch also had all these really old, cool tractors for the kids to play on!

Tavin kept getting frustrated that he couldn't do it all by himself, so daddy was there to help him bring life into his pumpkin. Whereas Dax was less interested in carving the pumpkin, compared to eating it!

I can't believe October is already over, and sadly that means halloween has passed us! This year was pretty fun, since it was the first year Tavin understood the glorious benefits of trick-or-treating. We had a trick or treat at the church the week before Halloween, so Tavin got some good practice in before the real deal! On Halloween we went to Aunt Angies house for her traditonal, exceptionally yummy homemade chili and root beer! DELICIOUS!!! All the little cousins got to go trick-or-treating together, and with only 1 minor mishap, it turned out to be a major success.
Just before leaving to go on our adventure, Tanner saw another Thomas.

What a fun time you had! It's a lot more fun as the kids get older and understand what's going on. I can't wait till Christmas because Kendra is going to understand more then last year...I love this whole new experiance through our children! :)
