one month old!!!

I can't believe it has already been a month since she joined our family.. She has been such a fun addition..
Tavin and Daxton are both So crazy over her. They have to give her hundreds of kisses a day, and are constantly asking if they can hold her. Every time she cries both of them jump at the chance to give her the binky. She is still sleeping a ton!! In fact it kind of worries me that she doesn't ever care to wake up even to eat..
The first week we got home, her umbilical cord got infected, which made me nervous enough that i took her to the insta care- where they told me to keep antibiotic ointment on it- so that was not really fun, but she is all healed from that now..
Also from the moment I saw her at the hospital, I noticed her left eye doesn't open hardly at all- especially when compared to her right eye. At the hospital they told me it was likely just the "vernix" stuff that covers them in the womb, and that sometimes some can get in their eyes, and no big deal.. Two days later when the pediatrician came to discharge us I asked him about it, because it was still happening. He told me that it could just be the way we were holding her, and depending on which eye was receiving light- that could be the cause..Which i knew was not right, because it was still only with the left eye, but i didn't push the issue. So by her two week appointment, no improvements had been made- I asked our pediatrician and she said it was called congenital ptosis- which is where one of the eye muscles' for unknown reason doesn't mature, making it hard to pull the eyelid open all the way. We were told to watch it over the next 2 weeks, and if it doesn't get better, which they usually don't on their own, she will send us to a Peds eye Dr. It sounds like the only thing they can really even do to help it, is surgery- which breaks my heart.. But we will have to see what happens with that...

Her 2 week check up stats are:
weight.. 9lbs 8oz
height 21.75 inches
head circumference 14.5 inches
